He's her weapon of choice...

Psychologist Mia Richards wants revenge. Her new client, tattooed Cole "Shank" Shepherd, provides the perfect means. She just has to manipulate the felon-turned-informant into eliminating her husband's killers—members of Cole's rival motorcycle club. The first step, seducing Cole, is simple. As for walking away before she falls hard—it's already too late.

Dirty Eleven practically raised Cole, and he plans to double-cross the cops rather than sell them out. But smart, sexy Mia is an irresistible distraction. While she's evaluating his mind, all he can think about is her body until he discovers her true intentions. Walking a fine line between desire and betrayal, they'll have to outrun her past, his enemies and the law for a love that's dangerously real.
Riding Dirty is the first book in the Dirty Eleven series by Jill Sorenson.

Three years ago, forensic psychologist Mia Richards survived a home invasion robbery, but her husband wasn’t so lucky. Since that day, Mia has dedicated her life to find the culprits. The only thing she knows is that one of them belongs to the While Lightening MC.
When she’s offered to be the counselor of Cole "Shank" Shepherd, a just released felon-turned informant, she accepts, especially when she learns he belongs to the Dirty Eleven MC, the rival club of the White Lightening MC.
Cole "Shank" Shepherd used to love his life in the MC, but after two stints in prison he has realized that is not the life he wants, that feeling is further cemented after learning of some dirty deals his club has been doing while he was in prison. Spending time with Mia is also making him wish for a better life, something that could offer a future with her.
Mia’s intentions were not altruistic, she wanted to get close to Cole to get information about her husband’s murderers and wanted to use him to eliminate them, but after spending some time with Cole she realizes she won’t be able to keep going with her plan; she is seriously attracted to him and wants to protect him at all cost. Even if that means putting her career on the line.

The first thing I can say about Riding Dirty is that it couldn’t have a better title. This book is dirty, sexy, and intense, but the best thing about this book are the main characters, Mia and Cole.

After the death of her husband, Mia has just been living a mute life, a life without color, sound or light. But all that changes when she meets Cole. He makes her feel again and makes her want to live and experience new things in life.
I really liked Mia, I like her because she’s a smart heroine, she knew what she was risking, but also knew what she wanted and the priorities in her life.

Cole is one of those sex-on-a-stick heroes. He’s rough, passionate, caring and protective. He’s in a tough place, the MC is his family and he’s supposed to betray them. He also knows the detective in charge is hiding something and any little misstep could cost him his life. Not a place where I would like to be, that’s for sure.

Since their first encounter, Mia and Cole are attracted to each other; because of the positions they cannot act immediately upon the attraction, the delay, until they finally decide to take matters into their own hands only help to build up the sexual tension between them… and when they finally come together… WOW!!! Fireworks!! Hot! Hot! Hot! Freaking hot! And Dirty! And rough! And OMG! I need a cold shower kind of good.

One thing I have to say is that for the last couple of months I haven’t enjoyed much (or not at all) smexy on my books, I was actually skimming sex scenes in books and I was keeping away altogether from erotica. I was planning to skim over the sex scenes in this book, but they were so good I just couldn’t skim one single word. I don’t know if my erotica slump is over or if it was just this book, but as you can see, that says a lot about Jill Sorenson’s writing.

There are not only super hot sexy times in this book, there is also a nice story to go along. There is suspense, there is tension, and some unexpected surprises.

If you like your stories with sexy bikers, dirty sex, and a touch of suspense, Riding Dirty is a book you need to read.

Riding Dirty was my first book by Jill Sorenson, but I can guarantee you it won’t be my last. I’m looking forward to next installments in this series.

My Verdict: 4 Paws

Other reviews Goodreads

  1. Well, I do love my sex-on-a-stick. LOL! I've gotten into the habit of skimming most steam scenes as of late as well because once you've read one you've pretty much read 'em all, so I'm happy that Sorenson was able to offer you something a bit different along with a good story.

    1. These sex scenes are not your common sex scenes, they are pretty "special". ;)

  2. Oh this is going on my TBR cause that cover and that bike. Oh smexy hexy :)
